2007 Fall Orientation

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

ORIENTATION SCHEDULE

FALL SESSION 2007

When you first arrive, many things about the way of life in North America will seem strange to you.  You may also be anxious about the different approach to study here compared with what you have been used to.  Most importantly, there are rules and regulations affecting your stay in this country which you need to know about if you are to proceed smoothly to the completion of your studies.

The Orientation Week program has been designed to provide you with information and guidance on these matters, to introduce you to some of the academic and administrative staff of Laurentian University, and to make you aware of the opportunities as well as the difficulties of being a student in Canada.  Students have found this program to be an important part of their introduction to university life.  Students who arrive after Orientation Week will be required to get settled on their own.

All students are asked to be in attendance on the first day of Orientation Week.
