Summer Institute in Research Methods 
July 14 to July 18, 2008

This summer, the School of Rural and Northern Health at Laurentian University is offering a five-day Summer Institute in Research Methods in conjunction with the University of Toronto’s Clinical Epidemiology faculty.

The Summer Institute is designed for graduate students in the health disciplines. Research assistants working full-time at Laurentian University may also be eligible to attend if they have good knowledge of health research methods. This one-week, intensive session will combine the fundamentals of research methodology with the practical skills of critical appraisal.

The program takes place July 14 to 18, 2008 at Laurentian University and features leading Clinical Epidemiology faculty from the department of health policy, management and evaluation (HPME) and the University of Toronto as well as faculty from the School of Rural and Northern Health at Laurentian University.
